Graceland Cemetery

I love cemeteries. They're so peaceful and spiritual to me. On Saturday, we went to Graceland Cemetery where a lot of well-known Chicago people are buried.

So, this is the grave of Pinkerton, one of President Lincoln's detectives/security agents.

And the founder of the Chicago Cubs. What an appropriate tombstone.

And me by Wrigley Field, where the Cubs play.... not that I care about watching baseball, but I love having my picture taken by famous places.

Those are some great tombstones.

And the picture of Wrigley Field is making me miss Chicago! I am not exactly a baseball fan either, but you can't help but get excited about the Cubbies when you're at Wrigley. Or when you're with your dad and/or brother at Wrigley (who care about that kind of thing). (That was the case with me, obviously.) :-)

I find a peace at graveyards. Those pictures are pretty cool. I bet you're excited to have a nephew, and you're pretty close to him too! Hope all is well.

I don't ever think I've seen a baseball-shaped tombstone before. Although, we are from Canada, so I'm sure there are hockey puck-shaped ones.

Sweet, I love graveyards!

I like the new look, especially the header--I really like the font!
