Here I am, a cute farm girl now in the beautiful windy city of Chicago. Right now I'm teaching ESL at Purdue-Calumet in Hammond, Indiana. I love traveling and seeing new places, but my favorite thing is being with family and friends.

Classical Music
I noticed that they started playing classical music in the lobby of my apartment building. I think I like it. It's nice to come in from the cold to a big open lobby and have classy music playing.
Maybe it is to discourage cold but un-classy people from hanging out there, like they blast classical music from some 7-11s and the Village Square Recreation Centre in Calgary, because punky people can't stand the music so they congregate somewhere else.:o)
oooo! i never thought of that. what a splendid idea! seriously that's a great way to get rid of unwanteds... lol sorr for no caps i'm typing with one hand

Good point, but the building is locked down here in Chicago. It's even difficult for me to get inside with all my groceries, let alone sketchy people.
I think I would like it. It sounds... classy! :)
