Here I am, a cute farm girl now in the beautiful windy city of Chicago. Right now I'm teaching ESL at Purdue-Calumet in Hammond, Indiana. I love traveling and seeing new places, but my favorite thing is being with family and friends.

Happy Independence Day!
I'm here at Michelle and Andy's. They're feeding me well, and I'm playing on my laptop.
So, I just met someone you know...I was at a career workshop being taught by my son/your cousin David and some other people and sat for awhile with a girl named Megan, who went to THS with David and Nancy, though she only knew them for their Canadian reputation, and turns out she knows YOU from the ELC. And on the other side of me, a girl named Meisha who served in the Ogden mission like Craig, though not at the same time, and who is a chemistry Ph.D. student who could potentially know Michael, although she doesn't yet. It's a small world after all!
Hi ya!! It's been a while since I looked at your blog. I love that you celebrated Independence Day with Michelle. :) And that you celebrated it full stop. Me... :( I really missed celebrating it this year. I was sad.

Ahh...they were feeding you, but you were doing all the cleaning, apparently! Everyone likes to have a guest like that!
Those are such pretty pictures of Chicago!
