A February Snowstorm

Oh the joys of parallel parking. In the city. In the snow.

Wow! You need a snow shovel just to get out! Good thing you didn't have to go to work on Friday. Wait, or do you? That was last semester you didn't work Fridays...

:) Looks like a bit of a tight squeeze, that... I'm glad it's not me... and LUCKY DUCK for having snow! It snowed for about ten minutes here yesterday morning. Apparently out on the moors and in the dales it got a bit more exciting. *sigh*

I find in unfathomable that Heidi misses SNOW!! While I don't HATE it, I certainly am happy without it. Especially when trying to park, parallel or not. Or when driving. Or when going outside... I just like the sunshine! But the pictures of it are cool...

Winter is SUPPOSED to have snow. And let me tell you a little secret about the difference between rain and snow in the winter: the snow you can actually brush off and stomp off!! I live in a country where it's freezing cold RAIN all winter, and just plain rain all summer, and you end up so wet you can't even see straight. It stinks. I like winter to BE winter. There. Have I used enough capital letters? :) Snow is fun to play in and beautiful to look at, and it means that winter is being what it should be. Rain is not fun to play in, it is not beautiful to look at, and it's just... soggy.
